Dr. Matt Friedeman, professor of evangelism and discipleship, was selected as this year’s outstanding faculty member from Wesley Biblical Seminary. He has taught at Wesley Biblical Seminary for more than 30 years. In addition to teaching, Dr. Friedeman is also pastor of DaySpring Community Church, a Nazarene congregation in Clinton, Miss.

Daniel Jackson was honored as this year’s outstanding student at Wesley Biblical Seminary. Daniel is the pastor of Burns Community Church in Burns, Miss. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Daniel is pursuing his Master of Divinity at Wesley Biblical Seminary.

“We are excited for the opportunity to recognize these two men,” Lohrstorfer said. “They are faithful and effective in the classroom and in the church.”
