Housing

Housing for both single and married students is readily available in Jackson.  Cost will vary according to the size and location of the property.  An active file of available units is shared with incoming students to assist in finding suitable housing.  Prospective students are invited to visit the campus and survey the housing situation. The seminary will provide lodging for brief investigative visits.

The seminary rents dormitory rooms as they come available. These units are rented on the academic year (September through May) or a calendar year basis. Contact the Admissions Office (admissions@wbs.edu) for more information about housing.

Employment

A wide variety of both full-time and part-time jobs are available in the metro area as well as a range of professional and vocational markets such as hospitals, schools, law firms, retail centers, etc. In addition, there are a number of churches in the central Mississippi area that frequently provide employment to seminary students. Limited on-campus employment is available. For more information regarding specific or current opportunities, contact the Admissions/Student Development office at admissions@wbs.edu.
