Wesley Biblical Seminary has unveiled a new logo that reimagines the seminary’s historic symbols. The updated logo gives WBS a strong visual identity as the seminary continues to expand its reach in Mississippi, the United States, and around the world.

“I’m excited to introduce this new logo that captures the essence of who WBS is and where we are going,” said President John Neihof. “The updated design gives us a recognizable emblem, while the symbolism captured in this logo expresses who we have always been.”

The logo incorporates a horizontal element at the bottom, signifying an open Bible as the foundation for faith and practice. The two ascending elements form a flame that represents the work of the Holy Spirit. The triangular shape of the mark is an allusion to the triune life.

“The Bible and flame have always been part of our symbolism at WBS,” Neihof said. “They represent our commitment to the authority and inerrancy of God’s Word and the necessity of the sanctifying presence of the Holy Spirit in the heart of the believer.”

The new logo was designed by Brad Easley, a WBS alumnus, who founded Two Cups Creative with his wife Meghann. Brad and Meghann are currently planting a church in Nicholasville, Ky.

The logo will be used in a variety of digital and print formats to help WBS connect with supporters, friends, and future students. Click any of the images below to view a larger version.
