Morgan Roberts PhotoWe are pleased to announce the addition of Mrs. Morgan (Stuart) Roberts (M.Div. ’09) to the WBS Board of Trustees. We’re blessed to have her wisdom, sharp mind, and minister’s heart.

Morgan Roberts and her husband of 11 years, Haydn, have three children Mary Milton (6), Sarah Beth (4), and John Stuart (1). They are charter members and active participants of The Pointe of Brandon, a United Methodist community of faith (Brandon, MS). Prior to homeschooling her children, Morgan served on the ministry staff at The Pointe. Presently she serves in a volunteer capacity as the director of the women’s ministry, a Bible study leader, and a lay delegate to the Mississippi Annual Conference; in the coming year she will be serving as the chairman of the Jeremiah Council (administrative board). She is also a member of the board of directors for Jackson Classical Homeschool Program.

Morgan Roberts is a graduate of Wesley Biblical Seminary (M.Div., academic distinction, 2009) and recipient of the Beverly McMillan Compassionate Ministry Award. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Mississippi (B.A., English, 2003) wherein she is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and was a Taylor Medalist. While at Ole Miss, Morgan studied abroad at the University of Salamanca (Spain, 2002) and completed an internship in the United States Senate (2003).

In addition to her most recent position at The Pointe, Morgan has worked as a youth minister (Brandon First United Methodist) and as an English and social studies teacher (Jackson Preparatory School and Oak Hill Academy). Morgan is a native Mississippian originally from Macon.
