For active missionaries with a recognized sending agency

Missionary Scholarships

The Missionary Scholarship is a 33% tuition scholarship for any missionary currently active with a recognized sending agency. This scholarship can be applied towards any master’s-level program at WBS.

We believe in you and in your faithful ministry to God. And we want to make your seminary experience as affordable as possible.

This scholarship applies whether you take courses on campus or online.

Applicants should contact their admissions representative and make sure they are listed as a graduate from an ABHE-accredited school.

Students who receive the scholarship must maintain a 3.0 GPA for the duration of their seminary program. The scholarship will extend for 5 years from the first semester a students enrolls.

When this scholarship is combined with the advanced standing policy at WBS, an ABHE student pursuing an MDiv would only need to take 60 credit hours.

An MA, paired with 9 hours of advanced standing, would reduce the program length to 41 hours.
