Wesley Biblical Seminary has partnered with Church Answers University to create an accelerated path for you to achieve your goals through our new Master of Ministry program.

Take the next step in your ministry calling in partnership with WBS and Church Answers University

Are you a pastor seeking to deepen your biblical and theological training for effective ministry? A lay leader exploring a call to professional ministry? The Master of Ministry degree program at Wesley Biblical Seminary is the answer for you.

Designed for working pastors, bivocational ministers, and busy lay leaders, the Master of Ministry provides a solid foundation in Bible, theology, and practical ministry training in just 37 credit hours (12 semester courses).

Now, through our partnership with Church Answers, save even more time and money. When you complete any Church Answers University Diploma program, you’ll receive transfer credit for three masters’-level courses (9 credit hours), saving over $4,500 in tuition and moving you closer to your educational goals.

Steps to Get Started

 

  1. Fill in our short application form and select the Master of Ministry or your preferred degree option
  2. Our admissions team will reach out to complete your registration, usually within 24 hours
  3. Mention your Church Answers Diploma; once you have registered and enrolled, transfer credits will be applied to your record
  4. Our team will help you explore available Financial Aid and Scholarships

  • Where are you located? Our headquarters are in Ridgeland, Mississippi, but we serve students across the U.S. and around the world through our online platform.
  • How hard will the classes be? Our students regularly say that they find our coursework challenging, but highly applicable to their ministry, and they are thankful for the depth of learning. Every student is assigned an Academic Coach in addition to our caring faculty, so you’ll have the support you need for success each step of the way.
  • What if I don’t have a college degree? Students whose life experience shows they are ready for graduate-level work can be admitted without an undergraduate degree on a case-by-case basis, so go ahead and apply. WBS also offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministry for undergraduates.
  • My schedule is packed with church ministry, another job, and/or family responsibilities; will I have time for classes? Every class at WBS is offered live online so you have the opportunity to interact with your instructors and classmates, but we also offer options to view recorded classes so you can adapt to fit your schedule. Students can take a full load to finish their program faster, or take fewer courses when life gets too busy. The bottom line is, all worthwhile goals require a time commitment, but we do everything we can to adapt to your needs.
  • Does WBS support women in ministry? Yes, women are welcome in all of our programs.
  • How diverse is the WBS student body? WBS has historically been one of the most racially diverse seminaries accredited by ATS. We credit this not to a “diversity agenda” but to a “Jesus first agenda” that recognizes the kingdom of God transcends and redeems all cultural and ethnic divisions.
