WBS is pleased to announce the 2024 Alumni Reunion, our inaugural reunion event coinciding with the Jubilee 50th anniversary of our seminary, August 16-18 at Camp Grandview in Jasper, Georgia.
The reunion will provide an opportunity for alumni and their families to reconnect with classmates, visit with past and current faculty, and be restored and renewed through special times of alumni-led worship and testimony.
“We are so proud of our alumni and excited for this opportunity for everyone to reconnect. I hope all of our alumni will participate, and that this will become an annual highlight for many years to come.”
A committee from the WBS Alumni Association, coordinated by Rev. Diane Ury and Rev. Nathan Doyle, is working hard to plan the event. Staff from Camp Grandview, a Salvation Army property, have helped to make this beautiful location available at the lowest cost possible. Plans include a children’s ministry program. “Whether alumni choose to attend solo, with a spouse, or with the whole family, we want to make this a great experience,” explained Rev. Doyle.
